VOOPOO Argus Pro 2 80W Pod System
The Argus Pro 2 is VOOPOO's 80W pod mod built around the PnP X coil platform. A 3000mAh cell, a 5 mL cartridge, zinc alloy with a leather panel down one side. It has real weight in the hand, which is either the point or the dealbreaker depending on how you carry a device.
Output runs 5–80W with three modes on the 0.96-inch screen: Smart reads the coil and picks a wattage, RBA hands the full range back to you, and Turbo pushes a short burst at the start of a draw. It ships with a 0.15Ω coil installed and a 0.3Ω spare in the box.

Worth knowing before you buy
- The PnP X cartridge is side fill — lift the silicone plug on the flank of the pod. It is not a top-fill pod, despite what a lot of listings say.
- Airflow adjusts by twisting the top section of the cartridge, fully open through fully closed. There is no separate slider on the body.
- Charging is USB-C at 2A. Use a cable and adapter that can actually deliver it or you are just charging slowly.
- It takes PnP X coils, not the older PnP coils. The two platforms look similar and are not interchangeable.

Which PnP X coil should you run?
We stock the PnP X coil line from 0.15Ω up to 1.0Ω, and the Argus Pro 2 will run any of them.
- 0.15Ω and 0.2Ω — direct-lung, warm, the coils this kit is tuned around. The 0.15Ω is what ships installed.
- 0.3Ω and 0.45Ω — a step cooler and easier on the battery. The 0.3Ω spare in the box lands here.
- 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω — restricted direct-lung, lower wattage, longer coil life.
- 1.0Ω MTL — tight mouth-to-lung, the one to pair with nicotine salts. Close the airflow down to match.
When the cartridge itself gets tired — cracked, cloudy, or the magnets stop seating cleanly — replace it with a PnP X cartridge. If you also run a 510 mod, the PnP X tank takes the same coils.
Argus Pro 2 or the original Argus Pro?
Both are 80W pod mods with a 3000mAh cell. The split is the coil platform: the original Argus Pro runs classic PnP coils, the Pro 2 runs PnP X with the larger 5 mL cartridge. If you already own a drawer of PnP coils, that matters. If you are starting fresh, the Pro 2 is the current platform and easier to keep stocked.

Why buy it from Central Vapors
We have been selling vape hardware since 2013, and we stock the coils and cartridges for the devices we sell — not just the kit. Orders ship from our own warehouse, and if you are not sure which coil or pod matches the device you already own, ask us before you order rather than after.
Argus Pro 2 — common questions
| Q |
Does the pod fill from the top or the side? The side. VOOPOO's own spec sheet lists the PnP X cartridge as side-filling — there is a silicone plug on the flank of the pod that you lift, fill through, and press back down. Plenty of listings call it top-fill, including some of ours until we checked. It is not. |
| Q |
Which coils does the Argus Pro 2 take? PnP X coils, press-fit into the cartridge. We carry them from 0.15Ω to 1.0Ω on the PnP X coils page. The older PnP coils from the original Argus and Drag line will not fit. |
| Q |
How do I adjust the airflow? Twist the top section of the cartridge. It goes from fully open to fully closed with everything in between, so you can set a loose direct-lung draw on a 0.15Ω coil or choke it down for mouth-to-lung on the 1.0Ω. |
| Q |
How fast does it charge? The USB-C port supports 2A. Real-world time depends on the wall adapter and cable you use — a phone brick that only pushes 1A will take roughly twice as long as one that can deliver the full 2A. |
| Q |
Can it do both MTL and DTL? Yes. With 5–80W on tap and coils from 0.15Ω to 1.0Ω, plus the twist airflow, it covers a tight salt-nic draw at the low end and warm direct-lung at the top. Most people who buy it run it direct-lung. |
| Q |
What does Turbo mode actually do? It pushes extra power at the very start of a draw to bring the coil up to temperature faster, then settles back. VOOPOO rates it as roughly a 25% jump in vapor volume in the first second. If you find it too hot, RBA mode lets you set a flat wattage instead. |
