Key Specs

Demon Killer Coils 48-Pack | 8 Types of Prebuilt RDA Coils

This kit is Demon Killer's answer to "I don't want to hand-wrap coils tonight." You get 48 prebuilt coils split evenly across eight different builds — six of each — covering resistances from 0.36Ω up to 0.85Ω. Drop one onto your RDA or RTA build deck, torch it, wick it, and you're vaping. No spool of wire, no coiling jig required.

Highlights

  • 48 coils total — 6 each of 8 distinct builds
  • Resistance range across the set: 0.36Ω to 0.85Ω
  • Legs are pre-wrapped and ready to seat; you still torch, trim, and wick each one yourself
  • Covers Clapton, Alien Clapton, Fused Clapton, Quad, Hive, Twisted, and flat-wire styles in one box

Which Build Should You Grab First?

The Clapton is the reference point — a single core wire wrapped in a thinner outer wire, the build most other clapton variants get compared against. Alien Clapton takes that idea further: two twisted core wires wrapped again in a spiral, adding more surface area than a standard clapton. Fused Clapton runs two parallel core wires under the wrap instead of one, so it heats fast and holds more juice against the wick.

The Tiger Coil mixes round wire and flat ribbon wire twisted together — part clapton, part twisted build. Clapton Quad wraps four core wires for a denser build suited to higher-wattage decks. Hive Coil uses a woven, honeycomb-style wrap that opens up more surface for airflow through the coil itself. Mix Twisted is the simplest of the eight: two round wires twisted around each other, no outer wrap. Flat Twisted takes that same twist and flattens it into a ribbon, so it sits flush against the wick.

New to building on an RDA or RTA? Start with the plain Clapton or Mix Twisted — both are forgiving to seat and wick. Already comfortable rebuilding? The Hive and Alien Clapton reward a bit more wicking care with a different vapor character.

Common Questions

Q What coils come in this 48-piece kit?
Six each of: Alien Clapton (0.45Ω), Tiger Coil (0.36Ω), Fused Clapton (0.45Ω), Mix Twisted (0.45Ω), Clapton Quad (0.36Ω), Hive Coil (0.50Ω), Clapton (0.85Ω), and Flat Twisted (0.36Ω).
Q Do I still need to wick these myself?
Yes. The legs are pre-wrapped and pre-shaped, but you still seat the coil, pulse it to check for hot spots, trim the legs, and wick it with cotton like any rebuildable coil.
Q Will these fit my RDA or RTA?
These are sized for standard rebuildable build decks with typical post spacing. Check your deck's post spacing and coil-leg clearance before you buy if your atomizer has a compact or non-standard deck.
Q Can I buy just one style instead of the full kit?
This listing is the full 8-style, 48-coil kit. Check our Demon Killer brand page for other coil packs if you only want one build.

This is my first time using prebuilt coils. Have just used round wire. good flavor but I found I need to run them at a higher wattage. I will continue to use them because I like them.

  • Good quality

I use them for quite a while. Just change the cotton and scrape them off with a wire brush once a week. Alot more convenient than spinning kanthal around a jig.

  • Stands the test of time for the rda user

A pack of these used to be $30 and were a deal back then because of the build quality of the coils and the pack lasts most people at least a year. Now it's being sold for $4 and it's the same quality is exactly the same. I'm buying more before they're gone

  • The best coils I ever used

  • Great deal!

A must buy for anyone who is always building rda's, rta's, rba's, etc. I like to use them for my boro rba's because they aren't too bulky... if need be, I simply resize them. Only issue I run into is that I believe, if I remember correctly, that they are wrapped the wrong way for most setups so you may have to rewrap it the opposite direction. Pretty sure they are, but I have a lot of kits like this and all of the other ones I have are like that too... not too much of a big deal, if you have a wrapping tool or something of equivalent size for your desired coil diameter.
