VOOPOO Argus Pod Replacement Pods | 4 Resistances
These are the original side-fill Argus cartridges — 2 mL, integrated coil, magnetic base, filled through a silicone plug on the flank of the pod. Four resistances, sold singly or in a 3-pack so you can try one before committing.
Highlights
- Four resistances: 0.4Ω, 0.7Ω, 1.0Ω, 1.2Ω
- 2 mL capacity, side fill under a silicone plug
- Integrated coil — nothing to install, the whole pod swaps
- Magnetic pod connection
- Buy a single pod or the 3-pack
The four resistances
| Resistance | Draw | Pairs with |
|---|---|---|
| 0.4Ω | Loosest, warmest | Regular-strength juice |
| 0.7Ω | The middle ground | Either, if you are unsure start here |
| 1.0Ω | Tight mouth-to-lung | Nicotine salts |
| 1.2Ω | Tightest, coolest, longest battery | Higher-strength salts |
These pods go in compact Argus kits that top out well under 30W, so the device sets the power for you. There is no wattage to dial in — pick the resistance and let the kit do the rest.
Which devices these fit
The Argus pod family: Argus POD 20W, Argus POD SE, Argus P1 and P1S, Argus Z, and the Argus G.
One thing worth clearing up, because a lot of listings get it wrong: these side-fill pods and the newer Argus Top Fill V2 cartridges are not rival platforms you have to choose between. VOOPOO builds the V2 cartridge to fit the Argus pod family too, and lists it as cross-compatible with the original Argus pods. If your kit came with one of these side-fill pods, you can run either. The difference is where you fill and how much it holds — 2 mL through a side plug here, 3 mL through a top port on the V2.
Getting a full life out of a pod
The coil is sealed inside, so there is no wick to prime by hand. What matters is the first fill: fill it, seat the plug, and give it five to ten minutes before the first puff so the cotton soaks through. After that, top up before the pod runs low rather than after — dry hits are what kill an integrated-coil pod early.
Most people get one to two weeks out of a pod. Dark, sweet juice cuts that down; a clean, low-sweetener juice stretches it. When flavor goes flat and a refill does not bring it back, it is done.
Why buy Argus pods from Central Vapors
We keep all four resistances on the shelf rather than whichever one the distributor had spare, and we sell singles so you are not buying a 3-pack to find out you wanted the 1.0Ω. Central Vapors has been filling vape orders since 2013, and every order is backed by our satisfaction guarantee.
Argus pod cartridges — common questions
| Q |
Which Argus devices do these pods fit? The Argus POD 20W and POD SE, the Argus P1 and P1S, the Argus Z, and the Argus G. They are the pods those kits ship with. |
| Q |
Do side-fill and top-fill Argus pods interchange? On the Argus pod family, yes. VOOPOO lists the Top Fill V2 cartridge as cross-compatible with the original Argus pods, so a device that came with one of these will take either. |
| Q |
How do I tell which pod I already have? Look for the fill port. These have a small silicone plug on the flank of the pod. The V2 cartridge opens at the mouthpiece end instead and holds 3 mL rather than 2 mL. |
| Q |
The coil is built in — what does that mean? Each pod is a sealed unit with its own coil. There is nothing to screw in and nothing to prime beyond letting the first fill soak for five to ten minutes. When the flavor goes, the whole pod swaps out in one motion. |
| Q |
Which resistance should I run? 0.7Ω is the all-rounder. Go 1.0Ω or 1.2Ω for a tighter draw and longer battery with nicotine salts, or 0.4Ω if you want the warmest, loosest draw the kit can manage. |
| Q |
Can I buy just one pod to try it? Yes. Single pods sit alongside the 3-pack in the dropdown above, which is the cheap way to find out which resistance suits you before you stock up. |
