Which pods it takes
The standard XROS replacement pods from 0.6Ω through 1.2Ω fit the full XROS family, including this one — pods for the XROS, XROS 2, XROS 3 and XROS Mini all click straight in.
One exception worth knowing before you order: the 0.4Ω COREX 2.0 pod is built for the newer-generation XROS devices and is not the right pod for this kit. Stay in the 0.6Ω to 1.2Ω band and you are on safe ground.
Choosing a pod resistance
With a 16W ceiling and no button, the pod is what sets the character of the vape. The 1.0Ω and 1.2Ω pods give the tightest, coolest draw and the longest battery — that is where nicotine salts belong. The 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω open the draw up and run warmer, which suits regular-strength freebase juice.
The chipset reads the pod and sets the power itself, so there is nothing to configure. Fit the pod, let it soak, inhale.

Mini or full-size?
The Mini is built for pocket carry — narrower frame, lighter, and it disappears in a jacket. The XROS 5 is the full-size version with a larger battery for heavier all-day use. Same pod platform either way, so a spare pod bought for one works in the other.
