SMOK TFV18 Mini Sub-Ohm Tank

The SMOK TFV18 Mini is the compact 28mm version of the TFV18 line, built from durable stainless steel with five copper braces on the base for fast, even heat management. It holds 6.5ml of e-juice, fills through a press-to-open rotating top cap with a push-button lock, and tunes its draw with an adjustable bottom airflow ring. It ships with two SMOK V18 Mini mesh coils - a 0.2ohm pre-installed and a spare 0.15ohm - for warm, direct-lung clouds and full flavor right out of the box.

Highlights
  • Compact 28mm stainless-steel build with 6.5ml capacity
  • Press-to-open top fill with a locking, leak-resistant rotating cap
  • Adjustable bottom airflow for a direct-lung (DTL) draw
  • Uses SMOK V18 Mini mesh coils - 0.2ohm and 0.15ohm included
  • Pyrex glass reinforcement, threaded 510, press-fit coil install

SMOK TFV18 Mini tank

TFV18 vs TFV18 Mini

This is the Mini: the 28mm, 6.5ml tank that runs the smaller V18 Mini mesh coils. The full-size TFV18 is the larger tank in the family and uses its own, larger TFV18 coils - the two are not coil-interchangeable. If your build takes the V18 Mini coils, or your mod is on the compact side, the Mini is the one you want.

Compatible Coils

Runs on SMOK TFV18 Mini replacement coils (V18 Mini mesh). Stock up so you always have a fresh coil ready when flavor starts to fade.

Questions & Answers

QWhat's the difference between the coil resistances offered for this tank?

Central Vapors Team · Jun 27, 2026

AThe options are different ohm ratings of the same coil, all compatible with the tank. Sub-ohm coils (~0.2–0.4Ω) want higher wattage and give warm, cloudy direct-lung hits; higher-ohm coils (~0.8Ω and up) sip power for a tighter, cooler mouth-to-lung draw with better battery life. Choose by the draw and wattage you prefer, and keep within the coil's listed range. — Central Vapors

QWhat's the right way to prime a coil?

Central Vapors Team · Jun 27, 2026

ABefore firing, wet the cotton: drip a little juice into the coil's wicking holes, seat it, fill the tank, and give it 5–10 minutes to absorb. A couple of no-power 'primer' pulls help draw liquid through. Keep it topped up so the wick stays soaked. — Central Vapors

QWhy does my coil taste burnt as soon as I install it?

Central Vapors Team · Jun 27, 2026

AA burnt first puff almost always means the cotton wasn't fully saturated, or you're vaping too hot. Drip a few drops of juice onto the coil's wicking holes, fill up, and let it stand 5–10 minutes before your first pull. Start low on wattage and work up, and don't let your juice drop below the wick ports. — Central Vapors

QWhat's the capacity and fill on the TFV18 Mini?

Central Vapors Team · Jun 27, 2026

AA 6.5ml capacity with a press-to-open top-fill system and adjustable bottom airflow, in a durable stainless-steel build. — Central Vapors

QWhich coils does the SMOK TFV18 Mini tank use?

Central Vapors Team · Jun 27, 2026

AIt uses SMOK V18 Mini mesh coils (two are included). The same TFV18 Mini coils are sold separately when you need replacements. — Central Vapors

  • Incredible flavor and huge capacity,

Posted by Jeff T. on Aug 21st 2026

The flavor you get off the V18 mesh coils is honestly some of the best I've had in years, and the massive 6.5ml glass means I'm not stuck refilling it every ten minutes., If you don't get that top cap locked down 100% perfectly tight after filling, it will dump half your juice straight out the bottom airflow slots and all over your mod, so just make sure you screw it all the way in and youll be good. For 24 bucks, it definitely chucks clouds and tastes amazing

  • Leaks a lot

I purchased this product hoping for no leaks. It turned out the opposite with this sub-ohm tank.

  • Nice, But......

Replaced TFV8 Baby Beast with this. 1st problem was getting Drip Tip back on. Would NOT go back on straight. So tight the tanks DT O-rings were stretching out of their grooves. Seems like the Drip Tip was slightly small, probably defective. 2nd problem was the top cap. Opening & closing very stiff. Had to use VG like oil on white gasket and metal-on-metal contact points. Seems to be getting better. After all that I definitely enjoyed the vape. Took out .2ohm, put .33ohm head in. The TFV18 heads are HUGE!! .33ohm heads need ALLOT of power. Big thick coil inside. The flavor is best ever in my 10 years of vaping!! Really incredible!! Red color looks sweet....except for crooked Drip Tip. Using it on Aegis X. One thing to remember with these tanks. Always be sure top cap is closed completely!! If not, it WILL leak out airholes. Same with TFV8 Baby. Hopefully the Drip Tip (510 size) was just a 1 off, defective. Other than that, great tank with much improved coil heads. Maybe just don't take Drip Tip off. Lol. -Joe
