SMOK does not publish a single per-coil wattage chart for this family, so the figures above are the ranges consistently listed across major retailers rather than a manufacturer table. Treat them as a starting point and adjust to taste.
Which devices these fit
Anything running a standard RPM pod. That covers the RPM40, RPM80 and RPM80 Pro, the Nord 2, the Nord 4 and Nord X when fitted with their RPM pod, the RPM 2 with an RPM pod, and the Fetch Mini, Fetch Pro, Alike, Thallo and SCAR-P3.
The thing that trips people up: SMOK sells several of these kits with a choice of pods, so the pod decides the coil, not the name on the device. A Nord 4 with its RPM pod takes these coils; the same Nord 4 with its RPM 2 pod takes RPM 2 coils instead. RPM and RPM 2 coils are not interchangeable in either direction.
Newer kits moved on again. The Nord 5, RPM 5, Nord GT and RPM 85/100 all run the RPM 3 coil, not these.
Picking a build
Start from your e-liquid. Nicotine salts want the 1.2Ω quartz or the 1.0Ω single — the tightest, coolest, most battery-friendly builds in the lineup, and the closest thing here to a cigarette draw. The 0.3Ω MTL mesh is the odd one out: low resistance but tuned tight, so it gives salt vapers more flavor without opening the draw up.
Regular freebase juice at 3 mg or 6 mg suits the 0.6Ω triple or the 0.4Ω mesh, both around 25W, where the draw opens out and the vapor turns warm. The 0.8Ω dual sits between the two camps and is the safe pick if you switch back and forth.
The quartz coil is worth a mention on its own: it wicks through a quartz element rather than cotton, which a lot of vapers find gives a cleaner, less muted flavor, particularly on fruit and menthol.
Getting a full life out of a coil
Prime it. Wet the cotton ports on the side of the coil, install it, fill the pod, then leave it five to ten minutes before the first puff. Run the first tank at the low end of the wattage and work up. Refill before the pod gets low rather than after — one dry hit is usually what ends a coil early.
One to two weeks is normal. Darker, sweeter juice cuts it shorter. Muted flavor or a burnt edge that survives a refill is the signal to swap.
