Key Specs

GeekVape B Replacement Coils

The GeekVape B coil is the deck behind the Aegis Boost, Boost Pro, Boost 2, and Hero pod devices. Five resistances cover MTL up through open direct-lung vaping, and each is also sold in a newer Boost Version core built for a longer coil life.

Highlights
  • 5 resistances, 0.2ohm to 1.2ohm, in both standard and Boost Version cores
  • Boost Version rated for roughly double the e-liquid lifespan of the original core (50-60mL vs 20-30mL) at the same wattage window
  • Mesh construction on the DTL/RDL builds, Kanthal on the 1.2ohm MTL build
  • Sold as a Single Coil or a 5 Pack

Standard and Boost Version coils at the same resistance run the same recommended wattage window - the Boost Version uses an updated mesh core rated for a longer coil life, not a different power range.

Common Questions

Q
What's different about the Boost Version coil?
It's GeekVape's updated core for the same resistances, rated to last roughly twice as long per coil (about 50-60mL of e-liquid versus 20-30mL on the original core) before flavor drops off. It fits the same devices and runs the same wattage range.
Q
Which resistance should I use for nic salts?
The 1.2ohm coil is the MTL build in this lineup and the standard choice for nic salt e-liquid at 8-12W.
Q
Can I use the 0.2ohm coil in my Aegis Boost Pro?
Yes, all five resistances fit the Aegis Boost, Boost Pro, Boost 2, and Hero - the same coil deck carries across the line.
Q
How do I know when to replace a B coil?
A burnt or muted taste, gurgling, or visibly darkened wicking holes are the usual signs. Most vapers get one to two weeks out of a coil depending on use and e-liquid.

  • Great coils for the money..

Posted by Marty C. on Oct 11th 2020

I've used both the 0.4 and 0.6 and much prefer the 0.4 at 25-30W and have been sticking with that and a 50/50 ejuice..I have used the 0.6 at 20W with a few nic salts and it's not bad but just prefer the .4 for flavor...Love my Aegis Boost Plus and appreciate Central Vapors for prices, shipping, and great customer service !!!

  • Love both the 0.4 and 0.6
