How much e-juice will it make?

Your finished nicotine strength decides the yield — the lower the strength, the more e-juice the included nicotine stretches to. From the 50 ml of 100 mg/ml nicotine in this kit:

Target nicotine strengthApprox. e-juice you can make
3 mgup to ~1,660 ml
6 mg~830 ml
12 mg~410 ml
18 mg~270 ml
24 mg~200 ml

Need to go lower than 6 mg? You may want extra base — grab more PG or VG to stretch a big, low-strength batch.

How to mix your first batch

New to this? It’s four steps, and the calculator handles the math:

  1. Decide your batch size, target nicotine strength, and VG/PG ratio.
  2. Enter those into the free e-juice calculator — it tells you exactly how many ml of nicotine, PG, VG and flavor to use.
  3. Draw each amount with a fresh syringe into one of the empty 10 ml bottles, cap it, and shake well.
  4. Let it steep (rest) so the flavor settles in — then test and adjust to taste.

Use the flavoring guide below as your starting point for how much concentrate to add. For a fuller walkthrough, read our step-by-step DIY vape juice mixing guide.

What’s inside, explained

Vegetable Glycerin (VG) — our USP-grade, kosher food-grade VG. It’s the thicker base ingredient and the one that produces the dense, smoke-like vapor.

Propylene Glycol (PG) — USP-grade, kosher food-grade PG. A thinner base that carries flavor and gives a firmer throat hit; many mixers run less PG when using an RDA.

Flavor concentrate — your choice of our DIY flavor concentrates, all built on 100% PG. Pick one or blend a few to make a flavor that’s yours.

Liquid nicotine — 100 mg/ml, 100% VG. Need a different strength or more of it later? See our liquid nicotine.

Nicotine Safety & Handling

The nicotine in this kit is a concentrated 100 mg/ml liquid and is toxic in concentrated form. Wear nitrile gloves and eye protection when measuring and mixing, and work on a wipeable surface. Keep it sealed and stored out of reach of children and pets — store in a cool, dark place or the freezer for longest life. If swallowed or if it contacts skin or eyes, rinse and call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 right away. By purchasing, you accept responsibility for safe handling, measuring, and storage. For adults 21+ only.

Why mix with Central Vapors

We’ve been blending and shipping e-liquid in the USA since 2013, so the components in this kit are the same USP-grade PG/VG, pharmaceutical-grade nicotine and house flavor concentrates we use ourselves — with no diacetyl, acetyl propionyl or acetoin in our concentrates. Mixing your own means you control the flavor, the strength and the ratio, and every order is backed by our satisfaction guarantee.

Want to keep going? Stock up on flavor concentrates, PG, more VG, or extra 10 ml bottles any time.

Frequently asked questions

Q

How many bottles of e-juice will this kit make?

The 50 ml of 100 mg/ml nicotine makes up to about 1,660 ml at 3 mg, ~830 ml at 6 mg, or ~410 ml at 12 mg. At the lowest strengths you may want extra PG/VG to mix the full volume.

Q

Does it come with mixing instructions?

Yes — use the four-step guide above and our free e-juice calculator, which tells you the exact ml of nicotine, PG, VG and flavor for any recipe and strength.

Q

Is this kit overkill for a beginner?

Not at all — it’s the same simple process as the small kit, just with more base so you can keep mixing. If you only want to try DIY first, the Small DIY E-Juice Kit is the lighter way to start.

Q

How do I choose a nicotine strength?

Lower strengths (3–6 mg) suit higher-power sub-ohm setups; higher strengths (12–24 mg) suit pod and starter devices. Lower strengths also stretch the nicotine into far more finished e-juice.

Q

How long should it steep?

Let your mix rest before judging it. Fruits and menthols often come around fast; creams, desserts and tobaccos usually deepen after several days — shake, vent and taste as it develops.

Q

Can I buy more ingredients separately?

Yes. Restock flavor concentrates, PG, VG, or nicotine individually any time.

Questions & Answers

QHow much flavor and nicotine do I use to mix my own juice?

Central Vapors Team · Jun 27, 2026

AA common starting point is roughly 10–20% flavor concentrate with your chosen VG/PG base and nicotine to taste — but the exact amounts depend on the flavor and your target strength. Use our free e-juice calculator for precise measurements: centralvapors.com/central-vapors-ejuice-calculator/. Start light on flavor; you can always add more next batch. — Central Vapors

QWhat do 50/50 and Max VG mean for my vape?

Central Vapors Team · Jun 27, 2026

AThey describe how much PG vs VG is in the juice. 50/50 is balanced — strong throat hit, ideal for pods and MTL tanks. Max VG (and 70/30) is the smooth, cloud-heavy option for sub-ohm direct-lung tanks. If the draw makes you cough, choose more VG; if it tastes weak, choose more PG. Set your ratio in the options. — Central Vapors

QIs this kit suitable for a first-time mixer?

Central Vapors Team · Jun 27, 2026

AYes — it's a customizable starter kit with what you need to begin making your own e-juice. Select your components and options on this page. — Central Vapors

QWhat can I make with the DIY E-Juice Large Kit?

Central Vapors Team · Jun 27, 2026

AIt's a complete kit for mixing your own vape juice — you choose the VG/PG ratio, nicotine strength, and flavor profiles for full control and real savings over buying premixed e-liquid. — Central Vapors

Overall, the kit seems like a great starting place. They provide plenty of VG for quite a few 10ml bottles of a20:80 or 70/30 ratio. My only issue is I am having trouble getting the flavors to come through in the final product. It is probably user error as I am pretty new to this. I’ll probably try some flavor concentrates from another company to see if there is a difference or if it’s all user error. Central Vapors seems like a great company that provides a ton of value with this kit.

Love it! Complete kit with everything I needed, in the quantities I needed, and the flavors (I chose) are amazing! No harsh "chemical" taste after steeping the mixtures. This kit is super convenient!

I wish I would have started mixing my own juice years ago. It is very easy and this kid has everything you need

  • Just what I wanted!

Posted by Joshua Domer on Sep 21st 2025

My local vape store stopped carrying product because of new state laws and this product seems exact to what I was getting for their free base. I can now play mad scientist and construct my own free base! Also a lot cheaper.

The whole kit is pretty decent just wish it came with some damn instructions on a few recipes. I also thought this was a full kit that would come with a small beaker to measure and the recipe calculator. Guess I didn’t pay attention but everything else is fine and none of the bottles were damaged after I figure this out I’ll update my review.
