UWELL Crown 5 Sub Ohm Tank

One year after Crown 4, UWELL presents the New CROWN V sub-ohm tank for CROWN fans to pursue more possibilities. CROWN V features a 5mL glass tank for your favorite eJuice and adopts a top-filling system with a silicone check valve to prevent leakage. These New Crown tanks are CRC-certified with the child-proof top cap design wand "press down" and "rotate" quarter turn to open.

In addition, the CROWN 5 is compatible with several variations of UWELL's Mesh coils with Pro-FOCS Flavor Technology for a personalized vape experience, including a 0.23ohm single mesh coil and 0.3ohm dual mesh coil or a 0.2ohm triple mesh coil (sold separately).

UWELL also incorporated its patented self-cleaning technology in the CROWN 5 tanks to absorb the e-juice or condensation through regular vaping, reducing juice leakage and lessening the cleaning frequency.

QWhy are there several coil options for the same tank, and how do I pick the right one?

AThey're the same coil family in different resistances (ohms), each tuned for a different style — they all fit the same tank/pod. Lower-ohm coils (about 0.2–0.4Ω) are sub-ohm: run them at higher wattage for warm, big direct-lung clouds. Higher-ohm coils (about 0.8–1.2Ω and up) run at lower wattage for a tighter mouth-to-lung draw, cooler vapor, and longer battery life. So pick the resistance that matches the wattage and draw you like, and stay within each coil's recommended wattage range for the best flavor and coil life. Tip: confirm you're buying the exact coil family your device lists — coil names can differ between device generations. — Central Vapors

QHow do I prime a new coil or pod before I use it?

ASaturate the wick first: add 3–5 drops of e-liquid onto the exposed cotton holes on the coil, install it, fill the tank/pod, then wait 5–10 minutes before your first puff. A few gentle primer puffs (device off, or at low power) help pull liquid into the wick. Always refill before it runs low. This is the #1 way to avoid a burnt taste. — Central Vapors

AAlmost always it's an un-primed coil or too-high wattage. Before first use, prime it: put a few drops of e-liquid directly on the cotton wicking holes, fill the tank/pod, and let it sit 5–10 minutes so the cotton fully saturates. Start at the LOW end of the coil's wattage range and work up. Keep your e-liquid above the wicking ports so the coil never runs dry — dry hits are what scorch the cotton. — Central Vapors

    Constantly leaks. Tired new seals and coil but still has slight leak. Overall average tank.

    This tank is just okay, the taste is excellent My only problem is the fill hole, the only way that I can put juice in this is with using a blunt nose syringe and even then it spills out a little bit sometimes. Why do they only put one fill hole? These manufacturers that make tanks should put two holes in, one to fill and one for air to exhaust. Thats just common sense. Like I said this tank could be better and it's just..... Ok

    Fantastic Vape.. if you read the directions and fill properly. You won’t have the leaking. Close the bottom and tilt like pouring a beer. It’s worth the effort

    HOLDS A TON OF VAPE LIQUID AND FLAVOR IS FANTASTIC. I love this tank. Its a got great airflow and there is also lots of room for holding a lot more vape liquid, the coils also are fantastic, which makes the ejuice taste much better than any previous tank. Overall I'm very pleased with this crown tank.

    The best tank that is on the market currently has no leaks, no spit-back it hits like it is an 80-watt mod while running at 60 and great flavor eats a lot of juice but it definitely uses it to make huge clouds they have a few coils that do less smoke and do just as well and doesn't drain the battery's very quick either.
