Common Questions
| Q | What's the difference between the Mesh and Regular DC coils at 0.6ohm? Both are DTL builds at the same resistance - the Mesh coil uses a flat mesh element for a faster ramp-up and slightly more vapor, while the Regular DC coil uses two round wires for a denser, warmer hit. |
| Q | Which Nord coil is best for nic salts? The 1.4ohm builds (Regular or Ceramic) are the tightest MTL options in the lineup and the standard pick for nic salt e-liquid; the Ceramic build tends to run a bit cleaner over time. |
| Q | Will Nord coils fit my Nord 2? Yes, SMOK carried the same coil deck across the Nord, Nord 2, and Nord Pro kits. |
| Q | Why do some Nord coils say MTL-Mesh instead of just Mesh? It's SMOK's label for a mesh coil tuned for a tighter, mouth-to-lung airflow rather than the wide-open draw of the 0.6ohm DTL mesh coil - same mesh construction, different airflow tuning. |
