Common Questions
| Q | What's the difference between the V2, V3, and V4 Ultra Boost coils? They're generational updates to the same wattage classes. If your device came with a V2 coil, a V3 or V4 coil of the same class (M3, M4, etc.) will generally fit and perform the same - the exception is the Centaurus 80Q, which only accepts the V4 M6, M7, and M8 cores. |
| Q | Which coil fits my Thelema or Gemini pod mod? Both use the standard Ultra Boost coil deck, so any M1 through M4 or MTL build listed here will fit. Pick the resistance that matches the wattage range you like to vape at. |
| Q | Is the RBA deck worth it? Only if you already build your own coils. It's a rebuildable base for the same Ultra Boost devices, sold separately from the pre-built coil heads, and lets you dial in resistance from 0.15 to 3.0ohm. |
| Q | How do I install a press-fit coil without damaging the pod? Push it straight down into the base until it seats flush - don't twist it. Twisting a press-fit coil is the most common way to crack the base or strip the seal. |
