iSub Coil Specs
| Coil | Wattage Range | Type | Draw |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.2ohm | 20-50W | Kanthal | DTL / sub-ohm |
| 0.5ohm | 20-35W | Kanthal | DTL / sub-ohm |
| 1.0ohm | 25-45W | Kanthal | MTL-leaning DTL |
| 2.0ohm | 10-16W | Kanthal | MTL |
| 0.4ohm Ti Coil (temp control) | Rated in °C, not watts — requires TC mode | Titanium | Temp control only |
The 0.4ohm Ti coil only works correctly in a mod's temperature-control mode with titanium wire support - it isn't meant for standard wattage mode. Innokin also makes stainless-steel and Clapton variants of the 0.5ohm resistance with different wattage ranges; the figures above are for the standard Kanthal build.
Compatible With
Innokin iSub, Innokin iSub G
Common Questions
| Q | Can I use the Ti coil without temp control mode? No, titanium wire needs a mod with temperature-control mode built for Ti coils - firing it in standard wattage mode isn't accurate or recommended. |
| Q | Which iSub coil is best for cloud chasing? The 0.2ohm build has the widest wattage ceiling in the lineup at up to 50W. |
| Q | Will these fit my iSub G? Yes, Innokin uses the same coil deck across the iSub and iSub G tanks. |
| Q | Which coil should I use for nic salts? The 2.0ohm coil is the tightest MTL build in this lineup, running as low as 10W, well suited to nic salt e-liquid. |
