Central Vapors has been mixing and selling e-juice for adult vapers since 2013. This is a quick tour of what goes into our bottles, how the flavor lineup is organized, and how to dial in a blend that matters to your setup.

What e-juice actually is

E-juice is four things: flavor concentrate, vegetable glycerin (VG), propylene glycol (PG), and, in most bottles, nicotine. The ratio of those four decides almost everything about how a juice behaves in your device. VG is the thick part that builds vapor. PG carries flavor and gives the throat hit. Change the balance and you change the whole experience.

How we mix it

Every flavor is built in-house by our mixing team, not bought off a shelf and relabeled. We use USP-grade vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol, and concentrated flavoring, with nicotine added to the strength you order. Each batch is steeped and checked before it ships, so a bottle of a given flavor tastes the same in March as it does in November.

That consistency is the whole point. A flavor people like is only useful if the next bottle matches the last one.

The flavor lineup

We carry well over a hundred flavors, grouped into a handful of families so you can find your lane fast:

Choosing nicotine strength

Strength is measured in milligrams per milliliter (mg/mL). Two things drive your pick: how much nicotine you want, and what kind of device you run.

• Freebase nicotine suits most tanks and works across a wide strength range. Lower strengths (3 mg, 6 mg) pair with higher-power, more vapor-heavy setups; higher strengths suit smaller, lower-power devices.
• Nicotine salt is formulated for low-power pod systems and is usually sold at higher strengths in a smaller, smoother form. Salt nic in a high-power sub-ohm tank is generally too much; freebase in a tiny pod is generally too little.

Match the juice type to the hardware first, then fine-tune the number.

PG/VG and the throat hit

The PG/VG ratio is where you tune feel. More PG means a sharper throat hit and a slightly crisper flavor; more VG means thicker clouds and a smoother draw. A balanced 50/50 is the most flexible and runs in nearly any device. High-VG blends (like 70/30) are built for sub-ohm tanks that can handle thicker liquid.

Why the ratio matters for your coil

Very thick, high-VG juice can struggle to wick in a tiny pod coil and may cause dry hits. A thinner, higher-PG juice can flood a wide sub-ohm coil and leak. Picking a ratio your device is built for saves you a lot of trouble later.
