QHow do you tell what wattage you need based on your coil? (ie: coil is a 1.8 ohm and I had my wattage set at 8.5 but with this coil it gurgles with I take a draw)?

AYou can almost always find the recommended wattage range laser-etched directly on the metal side of the replacement coil, or printed on the box. For most 1.8-ohm coils, the sweet spot is usually between 10W and 14W. The gurgling at 8.5W is actually happening because the power is too low to fully vaporize the e-liquid, which floods the coil. Try bumping your wattage up to 10W–12W—that should vaporize the liquid properly and stop the gurgling! — cameron

Avoid it by priming (drops on the wicking holes plus a few minutes to soak after filling), starting at lower wattage, and never vaping with the juice below the wick ports.
