The NCR18650B is an OEM from the Panasonic NCR battery series and is perhaps one of Panasonic's most in demand line of lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. The little brother of this battery in which Panasonic previously released was the NCR18650A model and was the first really high-capacity lithium-ion battery in the marketplace. Panasonic NCR line of batteries are of such quality and reliability that they are even one of the batteries most in demand for powering electric vehicles. This NCR18650B is the NCR18650A's big brother and packed with an even higher capacity.

The Li-ion battery used by vapors requires a unique safety/handling techniques which users should be familiar with before installing. Never overcharge or overdischarge Li-ion cells for safety reasons and all vapors should have a basic understanding of how to handle Li-ion rechargeable batteries. Check out Battery University learn everything there is to know about 18650 rechargeable batteries.
When the battery is not in use, safety store all batteries in a battery case to reduce the risk of a battery explosion.
Safe chemistry LiMN means reduced risk of venting with flame or explosion. Due to the safety inherent in IMR safe chemistry batteries there is no protection circuitry added or built in. This provides a slightly shorter battery length to enable a good fit in most mods.
To ensure longevity, it is not recommended to allow the battery to discharge below 2.5V.
Please note that due to their inherent safety, IMR cells don't have a protection circuit built in. They should never be discharged below 2.5 volts or cycle life/performance will be reduced. Maximum charge voltage is 4.25 volts.
Please be sure to inspect your battery before use to ensure it is not damaged including tears/rips in the battery wrap. Discontinue use immediately if battery is damaged.
NOTE: Use special caution when working with Li-ion cells, they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and may explode or burn if mishandled. Make sure the user has enough knowledge of Li-Ion rechargeable batteries in charging, discharging and assembly before use. Always charge in/on a fire-proof surface. Never leave charging batteries unattended. We are not responsible for damage if there is any modification of the batteries/chargers in any form or shape (including pack making). We are not responsible for any damage caused by misuse or mishandling of Li-Ion batteries and chargers. We only recommend using Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries with a control circuit (protection PCB) to assure safe charge, discharge, etc, use of lithium ion batteries without a protection circuit is potentially hazardous
centralvapors.com will not be held responsible or liable for any injury, damage, or defect, permanent or temporary that may be caused by the improper use of a LI-ION battery. Please have a basic understanding of the batteries you are using and how to care for them properly.

Yes it costs more, but I can promise you it's worth the cost. The battery life is exceptional and the vape it give you is AWESOME! I was very hesitant to buy one of these due to the higher costs, but someone convinced me, so I bit the bullet and tried it - I was NOT sorry. I ended up getting a 2nd one as a back up! Take the chance - it's worth it!!
